The PD&E Committee‘s mission is to support IWC members with strategic planning to develop the latest accessible and robust professional learning opportunities and continuing education where individuals can gain new skills and knowledge. This committee’s goal ids to increase competencies of it’s members by improving their job performance and general hire-ability.
Through equitable access to learning and training, this IWC network provides high-quality professional development and educational opportunities; specifically geared towards building skills and knowledge to work and grow in the industry. Programs are delivered through a variety of formats, including in-person workshops, webinars, and our annual mentorship program.

The IWC Mentorship program runs for 8 weeks with a minimum of 2 hours per week for the duration of the program.
The purpose of the mentoring program is to help mentees reach their professional development objectives.
IWC selects women of all ages and positions for a chance to be matched up with mentors in the legal cannabis industry.
